Questions and answers
What commercial work can I discuss with TBC?
The service range covers commercial door repair and replacement, glass replacement, aluminum storefronts, new entry systems, hollow metal doors, frameless glass and entrance hardware. You can also discuss related access equipment, multi-point locks and break-in damage. Describe the complete opening so connected issues can be considered together and the proposed work can be scoped accurately.
Why does my commercial door scrape the frame?
Scraping describes the symptom, not the failed component. The position of the leaf can change when hinges or pivots wear, fixings move or the surrounding frame distorts. Tell us where contact occurs and whether it happens throughout the swing. Inspecting those relationships helps determine whether adjustment, hardware replacement or a wider repair is appropriate.
When should I consider replacing a commercial door?
Replacement deserves consideration when damage affects the door's structure, repeated repairs have not addressed the underlying problem or the opening no longer suits its intended use. The decision should include the frame and hardware rather than the leaf alone. Explain why replacement is being considered and ask which retained components will be checked before ordering.
Can you replace glass without replacing the storefront?
It may be possible when the supporting frame and surrounding assembly remain suitable. The assessment needs to distinguish a damaged panel from damage to its supports, door or adjacent glazing. Send a wide view as well as a safe close-up. The replacement specification and final dimensions should be confirmed before any glass is ordered.
Does emergency repair mean guaranteed immediate attendance?
No arrival time or round-the-clock dispatch is promised on this website. Call (289) 901-2624 to discuss the opening and current availability. Explain whether it can be secured and whether people can safely use the entrance. The appropriate response and any appointment timing must be confirmed for the actual property and conditions.
Can I request a quote without knowing the hardware name?
Yes. Describe what happens when the opening is used normally and share safe photographs of the complete door and affected components. A visible model label can help, but you do not need to dismantle anything or identify the failed part yourself. TBC can discuss the assessment needed and any details still required before a scope is finalized.
What are your business hours?
The published schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 8 AM to 8 PM, and Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM. Saturday is closed. For an unsecured entrance or break-in damage, call to ask about current availability. These opening hours do not promise round-the-clock emergency dispatch or a fixed arrival time at every property.
Does a location page confirm availability at every address?
No. A directory entry helps you find relevant service information; coverage and scheduling still need confirmation for the actual property and work. Send the full address with your enquiry, particularly outside the main GTA service area. TBC can then discuss the job and next step without relying only on a city or neighbourhood name.
